After Care Instructions
You will need:
A Non-scented anti-bacterial soap (dial)
Non-scented lotion (Aveeno, Lubierderm, jergens.. etc..)
After care for Recovery (Derm Shield):
This is a water resistant bandage that should be kept on your new tattoo for the first 3-4 days (use your judgement)
You can shower with this bandage on, just keep in mind to check your bandage once out of the shower to ensure there is no excess water within your bandage, if so remove (follow standard after care procedures)
Once ready to remove your bandage, I would suggest doing so while showering (it helps to remove the adhesive and completely remove your bandage. Once removed, discard bandage, wash area with Aniti-bacterial soap.
Moisturize daily as often as needed, sunscreen in the summer!!!
Standard Aftercare:
Always wash your hands before touching your fresh tattoo!
Wash the area with antibacterial soap with your hands making sure to clean all excess blood/ink/plasma from the area
Let air dry, pat down with a dry paper town if needed.
Apply a thin layer of aquaphor twice a day for the first three-4 days, once the area begins to become dry, flaky peely switch from Aquaphor to a non-scented lotion.
Moisturize as often as needed!
